PDO Threads

Using PDO threads is an effective method to prompt your body’s collagen and elastin production, addressing loose skin areas. These threads, a blend of single and double types, work beneath the skin, enhancing skin thickness and tightness, visibly refining skin texture and reducing lines.

Placement of PDO threads in specific areas of concern significantly improves skin tightness and laxity, ensuring comprehensive skin rejuvenation

What are PDO Threads?

PDO Threads, a non-invasive skin treatment, effectively tightens and firms sagging skin, addressing issues like crepey skin. This procedure stimulates collagen production, enhancing skin elasticity.

Results become noticeable within 8-12 weeks and can last up to 12 months. PDO Thread treatments cater to various areas including crow’s feet, lower face, jawline, and jowls, effectively combatting skin laxity in these targeted regions.

There are 2 types of PDO Threads

Mono threads
Mono Threads, singular PDO threads with a smooth texture, are inserted in various patterns to create a tightening effect.
Upon insertion, these threads stimulate collagen production within the skin, gradually enhancing tightness for a rejuvenating effect. It’s important to note that while threads effectively tighten the skin, they do not lift it.
double screw threads
Double Screw threads feature intertwined threads (1-2 threads) that offer heightened collagen production and volumization compared to single mono threads.
Ideal for areas needing more volume, such as deeper folds, sunken, or saggy regions requiring increased volume and tightening.

What happens during a PDO Thread treatment?

Before the procedure, a topical anesthetic is applied to the skin for numbing purposes.

Once the area is adequately numbed, the threads are delicately inserted into the skin using a micro-needle or cannula, forming a mesh-like pattern to achieve the utmost tightening effects.

This treatment is customised for your facial needs to ensure optimal results, potentially utilising a combination of single or double threads.
